Per the WikiProject for songs, discussion of a particular artist's rendition of a song should be included in the song's article only if at least one of the following applies:

the rendition is discussed by a reliable source on the subject of the song (not on the subject of the rendition),
the rendition itself meets the notability requirement at WP:NSONGS.

Regarding the version by Paul McCartney, it only mentioned that the song was covered by him on an album in 1988, so neither point above seems to apply. --Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars (talk) 19:24, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
