Just a note if anyone thinks this is not notable - as far as I (or any Offspring fan) can tell this is The Offspring's first commercial release, which I think makes it pretty noteworthy.--The Skeleton (talk) 08:20, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notability

[edit]

This song is not notable. Per WP:MUSIC#SONGS, "Most songs do not merit an article and should redirect to another relevant article, such as for a prominent album or for the artist who wrote or prominently performed the song. Songs that have been ranked on national or significant music charts, that have won significant awards or honors or that have been performed independently by several notable artists, bands or groups are probably notable." That the song is the first single by a notable artist does not establish notability under WP:MUSIC#SONGS.

I'll Be Waiting

[edit]

Back when this record was covered by the official Offspring website, "I'll Be Waiting" was said to be the A-Side, b/w "Blackball." Take a look: http://web.archive.org/web/19970303050717/http://www.offspring.com/ofdiscog.html With permission, I think the article should focus on "I'll Be Waiting," not as an assumed double A-side record. -Disco dude rock (talk) 05:56, 12 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
