manned or unmanned

[edit]

The news coverage makes it sound like this is a manned vehicle, can this article be made clear on that point? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.190.44.254 (talk) 20:35, 11 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed large portions of this article as the appeared to be directly copy-pasted from copyrighted sources. Even if the sources are cited, ot is not acceptable to simply re-use other people's words. @Franamax: You're probably right in this case, but how do you know that copyright was violated here? Could it not for example be that the same person wrote both the source and the section in this article? Or that they had permission to add it? Ps. Let's not confuse copyright and property. Property doesn't expire. Amaurea (talk) 10:53, 10 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

"Development continues to Summer 2014" according to article, but launch photo from 2020

[edit]

It is confusing to read the "Future Development" section which says (at 18 September 2022) "Work on the HTV-2 will continue to Summer 2014" and then see in the same section a Hawaii launch photo from 2020. I understand that apparently much copyrighted material was removed, and I didn't see the material so I don't know what it said, but it doesn't seem dangerous to Wikipedia (?) to mention in a sentence or two that development did continue or is in fact continuing on this vehicle. Especially since there's information (a US Navy photo) which is in the Public Domain. Is the descriptive text accompanying the USN image 200319-N-NO101-0001 copyrighted? If not, that text might be used as a basis for expansion of this article? Mcvoorhis (talk) 11:33, 18 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
