Anime section
[edit]Hi. Regarding the recent changes to the anime section, while I agree that the director, writer, animation studio and character designer should be kept as notable as with other anime articles, I have a few concerns about the notability of the sound director and music production studio in the article. Per WP:MOSANIME, notable production staff members (typically: directors, leading voice actors, and sometimes producers or other personnel) can be listed. Since Ohmuro may or may not be notable to be kept in and that he is a member of Dax Production (which is the sound production studio), I think we should at least keep or remove it if it is not notable enough to be included.
Also, as the composer of the series is important to the article, we should add that in the anime section when the composer's name is revealed. We should also mention Flying Dog when the soundtrack is released. Also, we can mention the leading actors if it is necessary, using JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Attack on Titan as models. As for the infobox, mentioning Flying Dog's not going to work as the convention is to list the primary composers in that infobox.
In order to avoid an edit war (which is forbidden), I've opened up a discussion on the talk page. Thoughts? Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 02:03, 3 April 2016 (UTC)
- @Sjones23: Sure, I can agree to not listing Flying Dog in the infobox. However, I really disliked the sound of the term "series organizer" - do you mind just sticking with "the series is written by"? G S Palmer (talk • contribs) 10:37, 3 April 2016 (UTC)
- By the way, I like the copyedits you've done. The paragraph flows much more smoothly now. G S Palmer (talk • contribs) 10:40, 3 April 2016 (UTC)
- I have no objections. Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 15:14, 3 April 2016 (UTC)

Character Descriptions
[edit]The Character descriptions are far too long and detailed. I propose to edit them down to an appropriate length based on the style guide within the next week. See Manual of Style/Anime- and manga-related articles. I'm happy if any of you current Character editors want to do this yourselves. Ozflashman (talk) 00:39, 1 September 2016 (UTC)
Dispute over the North American Blu-ray release...
[edit]While it is true we still do not have an official release date from Funimation, to assume it is cancelled based on news of a recently-pulled-from-simulcast-only series should not be allowed without officially published sources. DawgDeputy (talk) 00:14, 5 February 2020 (UTC)
