Size
[edit]Size of HSA should be bigger than 66.48 Da (calculated from sequence) because of postranslational modifications (PTM). At https://www.uniprot.org/uniprot/P02768 you find the mass of Isoform 1 with 69.367 kDa. That should be more appropriate. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.30.114.148 (talk) 11:27, 22 February 2019 (UTC)

[edit]I exchanged the protbox for a bigger one with a picture in it. Some data were lost that are not in this new box, however. I leave it to someone who is better on those boxes than I am to transfer it to the new box. // Habj 20:16, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
Hypoalbuminea
[edit]I have deleted the sentence: "Human serum albumin is the most abundant protein in human blood plasma. It is produced in the liver." as it is a repeat of what is mentioned in the introduction. Please correct this if I am wrong. 124.184.123.52 08:03, 13 August 2006 (UTC)Aydin

Missing Important Information
[edit]It says it is synthesized in the liver as prepoalbumin, but it does not say for what or what conditions must be present for this to happen. There should be an in-depth discussion of how albumin forms in the first place.75.128.143.229 (talk) 05:35, 23 January 2015 (UTC)
Hyperalbuminemia
[edit]This para needs to start with a definition of hyperalbuminemia (abnormally high level of albumin the blood). A citation for this and for the first existing sentence (about dehydration) is: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK204/#_A3173_) Hildabast (talk) 00:58, 25 February 2015 (UTC)
