Hugo Reid and Silver Lake
[edit]The statement that Hugo Reid bestowed the name Ivanhoe is unsupported. The name Ivanhoe seems to make its first appearance as the name of the tract subdivided in the late 1880's, over thirty years after Reid's death. The reservoir was subsequently named after the tract. It is true that many of the original Ivanhoe tract street names were derived from Scott's Waverly novels and have persisted to the present day.
The citation of the Silver Lake website (now removed from the article) does not provide support for the Reid-Siler Lake connection as no citation is provided on that website. If proper documentation of Reid's connection with Ivanhoe and Silver Lake does exist, which I believe to be unlikely, then the deleted material should be returned to the article with the proper citation.WMThomas (talk) 16:10, 21 February 2011 (UTC)
# of children
[edit]There is nothing to support that he adopted "two" of Victoria's children from her earlier marriage. An episode of "Romance of the Ranchos" states that she had three children. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.183.21.237 (talk) 20:44, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
