Correction re: education
[edit]This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
I'd like to submit a request, seeking to correct statements about Hubertus von Baumbach’s education. I work for Boehringer Ingelheim. My COI is disclosed on my profile page.
Recently, an anonymous user changed the "Early life and education" section without citing sources for the newly added facts. The passage now reads as follows:
- [...] He earned a degree in law and economics from the University of Mannheim, Germany and also holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
As the user did not provide any sources, I tried to verify it myself. Searching for sources in German and English I could not find anything that would support the “degree in law and economics”, nor the “University of Mannheim”. Based on publicly available sources, I'd suggest the following:
- [...] He earned a law degree and passed the second state exam. He also holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.[1][2]

Would be great if someone could correct this. Many thanks, Harro at BI Group Comms (talk) 10:31, 4 November 2024 (UTC)
- It seems that neither version of the sentence can be reliably cited to a source independent of the company, so I have deleted the sentence in its entirety. Hopefully this resolves the matter. Axad12 (talk) 11:07, 4 November 2024 (UTC)
