I guess I'll just never understand why athletes don't have to meet the general notability guideline. Whatever, doesn't matter I s'pose, maybe it'll change one day. Useless article is still useless. --IvoShandor (talk) 09:12, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think playing for the national team of one's country is generally considered an automatic achievement of notability. He most likely played more of the game to be chosen in the first place, but there are no records of it (at least not in the article). This is much the same thing as every participant to the Olympics being generally held notable, even if little to nothing is known about them. Circeus (talk) 01:28, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
