First endorsement
[edit]Actually that was Professor Milton Lower, who was elected Neighborhood Commissioner September 1975. The Caucus would go on to endorse in the Houston city election November 1975 and won several races. Scott Tillinghast, Houston TX (talk) 20:35, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
Board members?
[edit]There has always been a turnover and think any listing soon becomes outdated. Noel Freeman was re-elected president early 2012. Scott Tillinghast, Houston TX (talk) 20:37, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
I have updated the current vice-president and deleted the board members because it is trouble to keep them current. Those who really want to know can visit the Caucus website. Scott Tillinghast, Houston TX (talk) 20:55, 4 June 2012 (UTC)
Original name

Was the initialism 'GLBT' part of the Caucus' name in 1975 when it was founded or was that added later? From what I've read the recognition of 'T' didn't tend to happen until the 1990s so it seems strange. Is this a case like WWE where they talk as if they were always called that and avoid using 'World Wide Wrestling Federation' and similar even though that's what it was called when it started? Houston GLBT Political Caucus (talk) 03:01, 22 May 2017 (UTC)==Ray Hill, Rev Bob Falls and Jerry Miller== @Glbtcaucus: re special:diff/736608243 do you know which editor added these 3 names originally? Should we perhaps go through a template:citation needed period where anyone believing one to all of these three 'joined the founding' or whatever it's talking about?
Also, given your familiarity with the subject, did I miss any other incarnations of this organization's name in the new etymology section? Ranze (talk) 22:22, 28 August 2016 (UTC)
Ranze - Ray Hill keeps adding his name because he's a liar and has worked very hard over the years to try to convince people that the LGBT community owes its very existence to him and him alone. His edits are just vandalism and should be undone. Houston GLBT Political Caucus (talk) 03:01, 22 May 2017 (UTC)
