Required changes in the family tree

[edit]

Firstly, Rhaenys was older than Aegon and should hence be above him. Secondly, the names of the five remaining Sand Snakes: Sarella, Elia, Obella, Dorea and Loreza, in that order. Thirdly, there is a mention somewhere of other siblings of Doran's who died at a young age... will search for it. --Paul Willocx 10:26, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

So, the tree should look as follows: Doran (m), Mors (m), Olyvar (m), Elia (f), Oberyn (m). Doran's children are correct; Elia's are Rhaenys (f) and Aegon (m); Oberyn's are Obara (f), Nymeria (f), Tyene (f), Sarella (f), Elia (f), Obella (f), Dorea (f) and Loreza (f). --Paul Willocx 10:35, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Is it worth mentioning in this article that Sarella might be the novice Alleras?-- anonymous GRRM Fan

Meta? How much detail in each entry?

[edit]

I see that some people don't think that each person's bio should contain references to each of his/her relatives i.e. Mellario's three children should not be mentioned in her entry, and merely incorporated by reference through Doran's. My feeling is that someone doing a search on someone individually, like Arianne Martell, wants information about here and each entry should be self-contained. Someone who arrives via google, for example, will be directed right to the subheadings, no?

Google searches don't take you to subheadings, they take you to the top of the article, and I think we should be focused on the article as a whole rather than the subsections. Each subsection doesn't need to stand alone as its own article. The family tree at the top of each house article already shows everyone's relations, so repeating that info throughout the article is redundant. -Captain Crawdad 21:04, 21 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
