Generalfeldmarschall of the German army

Rundstedt was Generalfeldmarschall of the German army during the initial Normandy landings by Allied troops.

The writer seems to believe Generalfeldmarschall was a high military office. It’s just a rank and not unique. The text should say: ”Rundstedt was Oberbefehlshaber West, commanding the German forces on the western front, during...”. 2A02:AA1:1014:F0C5:69F5:F7E3:77AB:29B8 (talk) 17:56, 24 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
