Copyvio

[edit]

This page looks like a straight copy of the website linked at the bottom. Is the author of this article the translator of the english version of the external link? DRJ (talk) 07:19, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Don't blank the page. I don't see any violation. --SkyWalker (talk) 07:29, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If you select the english version of the link at the bottom, it's almost word for word identical to most of this article. Is that not a copyright violation? Check this link - http://www.hgepsach.ch/Frames/Was_ist_hornussen/englisch/english_main.htm DRJ (talk) 07:32, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Also if you check the earlier versions, you can read that it was exactly quoted and then cleaned up. Just adjusting the language of a copyrighted page does not undo a copyright violation. This is where the copyright violation is most evident because no formatting has been applied to the text. -http://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Hornussen&oldid=40121717 DRJ (talk) 07:40, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm reposting the flag. Please don't remove it unless you can demonstrate that this page is not in violation of copyright. DRJ (talk) 07:46, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I would not call that has copy vio because the contents of the article and the site is different except for some minor things. This can be rectified with adding {{rewrite}} tag and explain what needs to be changed. There is no need to blank the page and call it has copy vio. Here is an classic example of a copy vio: copied from here. --SkyWalker (talk) 08:43, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The section includes blatant copyright violation. It was pasted in February of 2006, here, at which point it even included a copyright notice. This is a preserved "snapshot" of the page from 2006. Clean-up imminent. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 18:11, 3 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What is it and how is it played?

[edit]

What is the sport of Hornussen and how is it played? The present article doesn't give much of a description and the photos are almost useless to envision it. Obviously, there is some sort of a hand stick, but what the team does is unclear. Thanks.--TGC55 (talk) 18:45, 16 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
