The article is not worth deletion for the following reason:
- It is a good example of a collapse of a wind turbine. Collapses of wind turbines occur much more frequently as commonly thought!
- The video of the collapse is one of the most viewn videos on Youtube. A Wikipedia-Article with all background information is very sensitive.
- Thanks for the explanation. I didn't notice your explanation. Since there is one I shall again remove the PROD tag. Also, just so you know, I am going to propose this article for deletion per WP:AFD. This is a single non-notable event. You might want to simply merge this article into a wind turbine article. ---- Steve Quinn (talk) 08:30, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
- read also WP:N and WP:EVENT. Wikipedia is not a news source: it takes more than just routine news reports about a single event or topic to constitute significant coverage. For example, routine news coverage such as press releases, public announcements, sports coverage, and tabloid journalism is not significant coverage. Even a large number of news reports that provide no critical analysis of the event is not considered significant coverage. The Wikimedia project Wikinews covers topics of present news coverage. For guidelines on whether an event is notable, see Wikipedia:Notability (events).
- Also WP:LOCAL may apply. ---- Steve Quinn (talk) 19:50, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
