There is a line in the first paragraph of the description of medicinal uses of horehound that says it should not be used because it is poisonous. Due to the misspelling of the word, and the fact that horehound has been used internally for thousands of years, I assume it is a vandalism, but I don't want to cut it if it is in fact legit. I did a google search of the toxicity of horehound, and the only thing that came up, other than the standard "talk to your doctor before using herbal remedies", was that it can lower blood pressure and shouldn't be used by those who already have lower than normal blood pressure. Does anyone know anything more that would warrant such a warning?Sage1987 (talk) 16:13, 23 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
