This all reads like a lot of WP:OR to me. I don't think there really is a defined 'genre' of film named "Hood film", but whatever, I guess people just have to classify everything. -- Ϫ15:23, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The entire section on hood films has been tagged as unreferenced for two years. No references have been forthcoming, so I have removed the lot. Can anyone who wants to reinstate the list please provide references where reliable sources have described the films as hood films. Thank you. Mark Marathon (talk) 00:29, 25 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
