Honorable degree recipients

Do we really need a complete list of honorable degree recipients in this article? Diehld has twice added such a listing to this article. I reverted the first edit (and have requested that he or she self-revert the second edit so as not to start an edit war) because such a listing seems completely unnecessary and uninformative for readers. In other words, what does such a listing tell readers about the subject of this encyclopedia article? What essential facts about Hood College does such a list convey to readers unfamiliar with the college? Additionally, the material is unsourced and quite lengthy.

If there are particular entries in this list that merit special attention or convey important information to readers, I would be amenable to a sentence or two highlighting particular honorable degree recipients. But an unfiltered list without any additional context, especially one of this length and detail, seems to be unhelpful and unnecessary in this encyclopedia article. This is a recurring problem. These edits are being made by an administrator at the college (DiehlD). Lazlow91 (talk) 12:52, 24 October 2013 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:A:1580:6A4:AD56:85DD:47CB:7708 (talk)

I actually live within walking distance of Hood College. You are correct as far as I can tell that DiehlD is a Hood College administrator. I've reached out to him via telephone to ask if I can come by and talk to him and teach him about our Conflict of Interest Policies and why they exist, along with how he can give his input moving forward. Page contains Copyvios

Text from some sections was literally copy/pasted from the Hood website and then uses the Hood website as a reference. See [1] and [2] Zell Faze (talk) 17:42, 24 April 2014 (UTC)

Another one here [3] [4] I would suspect that most of the traditions stuff is copied directly from Hood's website after that. Zell Faze (talk) 17:47, 24 April 2014 (UTC)
