[edit]Dear Grant: Great work on this. I know how hard it is to figure out how to work in Wikipedia, but you have the structure all set up and you have the basics of the article in place. Now, you just need to add more to fill in the rest of Holland Coffee's life and why he was important. To get more information, you can follow up on some other names that are mentioned in the sources you already have. You could also add more information about the Native nations he was trading with as part of the story. What were that Comanches and Wichitas trading? I found an older book, but by a good historian that is online but available through Bizzell Here is the citation . . . Foreman, Grant, and Foreman, Carolyn Thomas. Fort Gibson: A Brief History. Project Gutenberg. Web.
I found a 2010 article I will send to you as a .pdf via email. Has lots of good background and mentions Coffee and his post.

Hi Grant! I really like how your article is very well written in encyclopedia style. I think adding more detail surrounding certain events will be helpful. You had a lot of great stuff listed about Holland Coffee so adding info about more events or expanding on the events you have now will be good, maybe finding a source about his relations with Native Americans tribes you listed. I also look at your sources and the second one is on JSTOR which isn't public domain unless you are subscribed to a library or school. I had that problem with my article as well. I am not sure if that will be a problem but it might be worth asking Dr. Hyde about. I also noticed that the picture from your first source isn't on your page but that may just be a formatting thing we haven't addressed in class yet. Overall great article!
