- I plan to edit Holes(novel) page in the following weeks to fill content gaps primarily in the themes and background sections. I plan to add the following themes with a description of their presence in the novel: Friendship, Masculinity, Self-discovery/Journey, and Oppression. I plan to add to the background section regarding Louis Sachar's motivation and inspiration for the novel, based on an interview of him. And to add to the reception section regarding few cases of considering a ban on the book.
