Hokitika, New Zealand → Hokitika – Appears to be unnecessary disambiguation per Wikipedia:Naming conventions (New Zealand). I would normally consider this uncontroversial but there may be some specific NZ issue of which I am unaware. Mattinbgn (talk) 05:31, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
- Support move. I can't think of any other use of the word "Hokitika" and a quick Google search hasn't brought up anything other than the town. Daveosaurus (talk) 06:00, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
- Speedy move Uncontroversial. —Andrewstalk 06:10, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
- Support move. I would even consider any move of this type to be "uncontroversial" and do it without a WP:RM discussion. If the more concise name is not less common than the longer name currently used as the title, and not used by any other topic covered in Wikipedia, the article should be moved to the more concise title. --Born2cycle (talk) 20:56, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
- Speedy move, uncontroversial and in line with our naming conventions. – Liveste (talk • edits) 01:11, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
Moved. Unclear why it was ever at "H, NZ" in the first place. Mattingb, you were right, it is uncontroversial, but thanks for checking with us Kiwis first :) Grutness...wha? 01:19, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
