Vue's radio
[edit]According to the Fresno Bee article about the 10th anniversary...
It is a two hour program which was scheduled to begin at 6 PM on February 4, 2003. It airs on KBIF AM 900 on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings. The program includes forums for discussion of news and weather, employment opportunities, economic development, and issues affecting the Hmong community. It also includes the segment "Talking to Your Elected Officials" so politicians can discuss matters with the Hmong community. Vue considered whether officials who do not speak Hmong should have their interviews broadcast in English. Vue believes that using a translator may lead to the loss of key points through translation, or would slow the interview process.
