[edit]EDCS gives the reading Hlutena for the Iversheim inscription. It's pretty clear (there's a link to two photographs) that this is really a tau gallicum which other sources transcribe as either ð or θ. (In this case the tau gallicum looks pretty much exactly like a Greek ⟨Θ⟩.) I suspect that Hlutena is not actually any scholar's reading, but an artifact of EDCS's technical constraints (basically ASCII characters only). Would anybody cry foul if I cut the spelling Hlutena from the article? (I just added it myself, before realizing what had probably happened.) Q·L·1968 ☿ 21:32, 3 March 2015 (UTC)
