"The" in title

[edit]

This article was recently moved from Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard back to The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard. However, there appears to be some confusion on whether the title includes the word "the" or not. Some sources ([1], [2], [3], [4]) include the word "the", while others ([5], [6], [7], [8]) do not. Meanwhile, the film's official logo ([9]), trailer ([10]), and billing block ([11]) do not include the word "the" in the title; while its official social media pages ([12], [13]) do. Given this confusion, should we include the word "the" in the title? InfiniteNexus (talk) 03:37, 11 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

As there appears to be no significant opposition, WP:BOLDly moved page to Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard per official billing block and logo. InfiniteNexus (talk) 19:43, 13 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Needs an entire re-write

[edit]

Apart from grammatically complex sentences (those that are unnecessarily imprecise) there are parts where the wrong word is used, suggesting that the page was written by someone with a propensity for mistakes, or only a passing familiarity with English. As an example, the word "ensures" and "ensues" are sufficiently different that it can be very hard to mistake one for the other. However, the author of this page managed to do just such a thing.

There are a number of other mistakes, such as the inability to recognise when/ where an oxford comma can properly be used, but nothing outrageous or infuriating. Rather than proofread the entire copy, I suspect that it might be more efficient if someone were to rewrite the page in its entirety. Err...
