@Phlsph7, I was just wondering what the purpose was of moving the Native American section lower? If you want to do things in chronological order then it would be far above the Greek section, and if you think Greek ontology is more important then you can just say that. I also don't understand why you feel the need to label it as having excessive information, I was under the impression that the whole point of this page was to divert unnecessary information away from the actual ontology page. I don't want to step on your toes with all the great work you've been doing on these philosophy pages, but you don't have full jurisdiction on what information is important and what is not. Hello Barkiechaser and thanks for including this tradition in the article. I think it's better to present the Ancient Greek tradition first since it has been more influential in this field of inquiry. This is also the reason why I added the template "Overly detailed" since relative importance should roughly be reflected in section length. The section "Native American Ontologies" is currently almost twice as long as the section "Greek philosophy". I agree with you that it has a place in this article but I'm not sure how to best implement this. Phlsph7 (talk) 07:55, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
