Read

[edit]

Hi I just read your article about the Korean Newspaper. I am majored in Mass Communication and Broadcasting so your article was so impressive to me. I've only known about the history of Korean Newspaper really a bit after reading your article I could get more information about that part. And I thought I can use your article for studying my major during my Uni course.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Woojin Jeong (talkcontribs) 00:10, May 25, 2020 (UTC)

Korean-language papers abroad

[edit]

Do Korean-language papers published abroad fit into the scope of this article? I don't think there's a page that covers their history otherwise, and making one doesn't seem like a good idea.

I propose renaming this page to "History of Korean newspapers", that way it's part of the scope Toobigtokale (talk) 00:07, 13 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I went ahead and did it; the page doesn't really have frequent activity so I figured it's ok and that most people would agree with it anyway.
History of American newspapers is named similarly, so I figure there's precedent. Toobigtokale (talk) 00:12, 13 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Useful source

This pdf on page 13 has a list of all newspapers published in Korea. Super useful. toobigtokale (talk) 23:43, 31 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Also another useful link. SK's digital archive of newspapers. Many are text searchable. Frickin rocks. toobigtokale (talk) 04:50, 1 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Rewriting article

[edit]

I'm trying to rewrite the article gradually, although my interest in the press mostly stops after around 1955 for now. Maybe that'll change in the future toobigtokale (talk) 00:16, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
