2009 Violence

This article is out of date and lacks any mention of continued violence on this island in 2009. --RightCowLeftCoast (talk) 12:00, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Events happening in 2009 are considered "current events" and have been included in the general article for "Basilan". This article on the other hand gives the "history" of Basilan, as is stated in the title. Reposting the same text found on the "Basilan" and "History of Basilan" articles might already be too redundant, seeing that both articles are linked anyway, and therefore readers of one will almost certainly refer to the other. - Jjarivera (talk) 17:22, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
