The British Must Have Written the Article

[edit]

The British must have been written this article (most especially because it was once a British possession), since it doesn't include the involvement of the United States in the Mujahideen War against the Soviet Union. There is vague mention of Reagan's overall diplomatic policy without any specifics included. However, there is no mention of the subversive support provided by the U.S. to the Afghan guerillas, and led by U.S. Congressman, Charlie Wilson during the 1980s. Regardless, of the size of his role in the events, the U.S. did make an important contribution to the Afghan opposition. That should be included with references.
