This needs some info about actual activities that can be described as "hip hop activism". Have there been demonstrations, or petitions, or lobbying? Things that can affect politics? It looks like the Hip Hop Summit Action Network was active during the 2004 election season, but doesn't seem to be doing much right now. The article reads as if this is mostly one or two people writing about it, but not doing much. --John Nagle 16:30, 24 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
