The 69 Enigma

[edit]

Now, I'm not normally one for conspiracy theories, let alone sexually charged numberical references, but I was looking for low cost property across the country to reduce my cost of living. I came across an extremely cheap piece of property in Hinton Oklahoma and decided to look up the town on Wikipedia. After reading the article for a little while, I noticed a prevailance of the number "69". I think this article might be vandalized in some odd way. For example "2,169 people, 569 households, and 469 families." A population density of "269.6/km² (691.5/mi²)", 669 homes, a housing density of 69.6/km² 73.69%. The racial percentages all end in .69%, the incomes all end with 69... It's all over the aritcle, it's enough to drive someone insane. 24.254.187.237 08:09, 29 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • I looked at the history and saw that the numbers were infact edited in an act of vandalism. It seems someone has already tried to undo the vandalism only to have it happen again. The vandalism appears to be coming from 72.9.93.14 whose only vandalizing edits were of Hinton, Oklahoma. 24.254.187.237 08:20, 29 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
