'The cantata is intimately scored to match the church building.'

[edit]

Please explain. To suit the acoustics? The outside appearance? The internal arrangements of the organ, musicians etc? What is 'matched' ? And how? And what is an 'intimate' score? 123.243.86.215 (talk) 23:09, 3 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

English is not my first language, help welcome. The space is small, especially the little space for performers around the organ (see picture). It's scored for few singers and players, almost like chamber music. Please word that better if you think the short "intimately" is not understood. Nobody thought so for 10 years. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:08, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
