Hello I created a new article for Teddy Fresh (Here) but it was declined and AFC reviewer asked that I post a comment on the talk page here for discussion. I feel that this brand deserves it's own page and has a lot more content that would not be appropriate on Hila's page. The brand has notable partnerships with Elton John, Spongebob Squarepants Brand, Looney Tunes brand and care Bears. Please post comments here if you support or oppose a split. I'm not a particularly experienced editor. I would agree with AngusWOOF that Hila Klein and Teddy Fresh similar enough, and small enough, to be merged. I would suggest merging the content on the draft into Hila Klein. Keep working on it and if it gets large enough, it may warrant it's own article. Counter argument - Thank you for your perspective. However, I would argue that the only similarity between Hila_Klein and Draft:Teddy_Fresh is that Klein is the CEO of the brand. There is little to no overlap in the content of the two articles which works to support the argument that the individual is separate from the company. To elaborate upon the point that Klein is separate from the brand for which she is the CEO, running Teddy Fresh is not what she is primarily known for given that she has long been an internet personality (namely an influencer, podcaster, entertainer, and arguably a comedian) before establishing the brand and continues to undertake these roles alongside running Teddy Fresh to this day. I understand the argument that the Teddy Fresh article is still relatively short but that can be attributed to the fact that is is a relatively young but fast-growing brand. The way I see it, if the Wikipedia mods see it fit for Klein to have her own standalone article (which is significantly shorter than Teddy Fresh's article), I don't see why the length of Teddy Fresh's article is an issue. This is especially because Teddy Fresh's article will get longer with each new release (of which there are multiple a year). On the heels of this point, I want to make it clear that I strongly believe that Hila Klein deserves her own page - I am not saying this to argue that her article is not necessary. I would be interested to hear your thoughts on the arguments I have laid out here (and further down on this Talk Page) - I am keeping an open mind on this Split Suggestion so if you think that the points I have made are flawed, I'd be eager to hear why so I can change my mind. A significant amount of cited sources mentioning the brand also mention Klein. This and the length of the content means that the two can be merged for the time being IMO. Pabsoluterince (talk) 16:55, 18 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Support - There's no reason not to create a separate page/article for Teddy Fresh. Klein is quite popular with many millions of viewers on YouTube, and her brand Teddy Fresh certainly is notable due to the large amount of press coverage and significant popularity. Draft:Teddy Fresh has a lot of good references and doesn't look excessively fancruft-like or promotional either; it seems pretty well balanced with the controversy section and all. Merging it all into Hila Klein would bloat up the existing article, since the draft about Teddy Fresh looks slightly longer than Hila Klein's biography.
Support - Teddy Fresh is notable: When I submitted Draft:Teddy_Fresh for consideration to be its own article, it got rejected on the grounds that the brand is not notable enough to justify its own page. I disagree with this as it is a growing but established brand which presently has many notable collaborations. Furthermore, Teddy Fresh is not Hila Klein or h3h3productions merch (if it were, I would understand merging the articles). Instead, it is its own street wear brand. Additionally, the brand has several secondary sources (including interviews with the CEO, news articles published detailing new releases, etc) which evidences its notability. For these reasons, I believe that the brand is notable enough to justify its own article despite the fact that it is still growing. --OdaraM (talk) 07:42, 17 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Support - Teddy Fresh is separate from Hila Klein: Another point which evidences the brand, Draft:Teddy_Fresh is its own entity, separate enough from Hila_Klein to justify its own article, is that it has its own controversies which are separate from the CEO. Hila Klein is in the entertainment industry and gets into her own controversies separate from Teddy Fresh. Likewise, Teddy Fresh has its own controversies which are separate from the Kleins (though the controversies are usually covered on their podcasts and other social media). For this reason, I don't believe that merging the articles is appropriate as the news with Teddy Fresh does not necessarily fall under "Hila Klein" news in the same way that Hila Klein or Ethan Klein's controversies would not be reported on the Teddy Fresh article (unless of course the controversy directly impacted the brand (eg was the reason why the brand was discontinued). This is why I believe that the content in the Teddy Fresh article should not be merged with that of Hila Klein. --OdaraM (talk) 07:42, 17 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Support I have reviewed the proposed draft Teddy Fresh. It has 26 citations and adequate to have it own page. It also contains content that is not presently used on Hila's page. I think it's better to separate them. Hila as a person also has another venture H3H3 Productions, so it is also better that she keeps her own page separate. Also it seems Teddy Fresh is a popular enough brand to have it's own page. I can think of several celebrities that have fashion brands, with separate pages for their brands: Kardashians and Dash (boutique), Draper James by Reese Witherspoon, Fabletics by Kate Hudson and many more...Samanthany (talk) 01:02, 21 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
