7 Years War (French and Indian War) and Revolutionary War

[edit]

In my US history class my proffessor mentioned the highlanders while talking aboutthier involvment in both the French and Indian War and the American Revolutionary War. I became curious about them due to both his excitement over some major military action of thier's and thier exitence in the game, Age of Empires III. But I cannot find any mention of a group of highlanders that were around in the right time period, the Queen's Own Highlanders (Seaforth and Camerons) (est. 1961), The Gordon Highlanders(est. 1881) and the closest I could find but still too lately established teh 75th Highlanders(est. 1787). So am I missing something obvious , do I keep overlooking a link, are they not worth mentioning, or has a page just not been made? Also sorry if it's not okay to post on this discussion.
