This article does a great job of being detailed and informative, but it is currently at a high reading level, which may make it difficult to interpret for readers who are not medically literate. While some terms like 'varus deformation' are linked to other wikipedia articles, I think the wording of the article could be simplified into more plain language so that it is overall more readable for readers of the general public. Additionally, images or diagrams could make portions of the article more understandable to someone unfamiliar with practices of orthopedic surgery - an example of a varus angle measurement or the degree of malalignment could be useful in the 'Patient Selection' section of the article. Some terms in the 'Patient Selection' could also use defining, as terms like tricompartmental arthritis or contracture may not be known by some readers. In the 'Surgical Technique' section, it may be useful to give an introduction to common symptoms experienced by patients who would possibly consider this procedure before telling which groups would benefit/not benefit from each of the techniques. It would also be useful to indicate common ligaments involved other than the ACL (if any). A diagram of relevant anatomy mentioned in the surgical techniques sections would be helpful for readers who are not familiar with knee anatomy to be able to follow the described surgical procedure. It could also be improved by simplifying the language to bring down the reading level; as written, it seems to be comparable to a medical textbook. It is also very similar to the original text in the cited article - parts of the article, such as the procedure descriptions, should be rephrased in order to avoid plagiarism of ideas/content/structure.
