Shirouma

[edit]

Given that there is a village called Hakuba in Nagano-ken, might the "Mount Shirouma" referred to in the article actually be "Mount Hakuba"? Or is it definitively Shirouma? Thanks. LordAmeth (talk) 20:53, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind. ja:白馬 provides the answer; "Shirouma" is the reading for the peak, the mountain range, and several other such things, while "Hakuba" is the name of the village (are they even in the same place? perhaps not). LordAmeth (talk) 20:55, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
