Hey Emacs, this is a -*-Wikipedia-*- talk page!
Welcome
[edit]If anyone has any information regarding the slogan "Hey Emacs...", please do not hesitate to edit this article. I have searched far and wide and can't seem to turn up any information about the catch phrase. --Ajo Mama 00:35, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
Documentation
[edit]There's some reference material in the emacs manual at: [[1]], but I'm not wikisavvy enough yet to put it into the article in the right place. 94.193.93.216 (talk) 20:16, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
An informal survey of emacs users turned up one person who had seen the reference. It's not common, useful, or interesting. It's probably not suited even to an entry in a programming jargon database. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.220.198.131 (talk • contribs) 06:36, 13 January 2007
Rewritten
[edit]I've rewritten the article. AFD process participants take note. --N Shar 00:42, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
AfD Result
[edit]I closed the AfD as a plain Keep since I didn't see a clear consensus as to where or whether to merge the content. A merger can simply be discussed on this page and then carried out by any user without the benefit of the AfD process which is only necessary if the content is to be deleted.
