Critique of Corn Cyst Nematode

[edit]

Some things missing from the article that could help the reader

     * Adding a picture of the corn cyst nematode in the description section of the article would help the reader better orientate themselves with the structure of the nematode better than a word description can
*Further detail needs to be given on WHY the corn cyst nematode has economic significance in India and Egypt, but not The United States; perhaps state how the climate or other environmental factors (soil, presence of other nematodes that compete for resources) in the countries differ and how this might impact the corn cyst nematode prevalence.
*Author states that the corn cyst nematode can penetrate the root of plants, what about the corn cyst nematode structure enables them to do this? Are there any specific structure designs that facilitates this?

For the most part citations are used correctly, although it would be more beneficial if the citation link took the reader to the actual article cited instead of the reference page at the bottom of the wiki article. The sources cited also appear to be taken from peer reviewed scientific articles which gives strong support for the statements the author makes because it shows the research they did, and the conclusion made form that research, came from reliable sources.

The article is neutral, the author does not provide any biased toward the corn cyst nematode.
