I would like to know what has been flagged as promotional content on this page. This is a self-evidently a significant, prestigious fellowship program in the sciences, with numerous distinguished alumni and obvious importance to its own community.
The Foundations origins in the Cold War era are certainly ripe for additional commentary--and acceptance of the honor evidently still requires a pledge of service to the USA, but the Fellowships have evolved into generous grant source for serious scientific investigation. This Foundation seems a natural and obvious candidate for inclusion on Wikipedia.
