YaY!

[edit]

My first article!

Seems like I messed it up quite a bit. Does anyone mind sprucing it up a little bit? RobMasterFunk 01:51, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Don't indent things like that, that's what causes that. cleaned up. Cantras 01:53, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

To Do List

[edit]

Eventhough I'm the only person editing it, I have put a to-do list on the Cage Rage talk page for both my own memory and if anybody else seeks to add to it. I'm going to stick one on here because there is absolutely LOADS to do. I'll start it off but feel free to add to it. -- Crazyknight 23:46, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Apostrophe

[edit]

I know the apostrophe in Hero's is the way the company wants it written, but does anyone know why? An explanation in the article would be nice. Are they saying "(this organization is the) Hero's (organizaion)"? Thedoorhinge 18:09, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think it's meant to be an apostrophe, but an asterisk. The logo uses a star symbol. Compare to the pro wrestling promotion W*ING. I'll try looking further into this, but Google makes it tricky to search for "K-1 Hero*s" (it treats the asterisk as a wildcard character). As for why K-1 or W*ING does this, I have no idea. Japan is often mysterious. InedibleHulk (talk) 23:38, 7 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

There's a discussion here, but nothing conclusive or reliable for Wikipedia. InedibleHulk (talk) 23:44, 7 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Misinformation

[edit]

The line that says that states that Hero's is not as popular as the UFC or Pride is wrong. K-1 Hero's is actually the more popular show in Japan. Unless you are strictly speaking about an American audience. As for it being more popular worldwide, I think you need some sort of source to back that up. I wont change anything though, I will leave any edit's up to more experienced wikipedia users. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.235.179.0 (talk) 21:52, 13 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:K1-heros.jpg

[edit]

Image:K1-heros.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Weights

[edit]

I can't make sense of the weightclasses. It says they only had MW, LHW and HW. But they hosted tournaments at lightweight and middleweight. As well weights on fighters including Caol Uno, Gesias Calvancante and André Amado are all over the place. Nswix (talk) 00:42, 7 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
