I'm not sure that saying that HD are from Sweden is correct. I think that AHD and DIHD's parents are Swedish, but they themselves grew up in Paris, and may even have been born there. Néman is definitely Swiss, though. Dancarney 15:06, 26 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

In an interview in the swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet on january 2nd 2007, they call them selves a french band. David and Andrés mother is swedish, but David says that he has been to Sweden on few occasions and know no swedish. I'll be editing the article a bit with information from this interview. I recently asked David if the umlaut was necessary in the name, and he said no. He intimated that they'd decided to let it go after becoming a duo. Wwwhatsup 15:51, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Year of formation

[edit]

It says they started in 1999, but also says the first single was in 1997 - can someone clear that up? Lfh (talk) 15:06, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Herman DüneHerman Dune – The Umlaut dots are no longer used, also: the dots that have been used seem to have no meaning other than typographical decoration, no real umlaut. the two 'Herman Dunes' are not related, its an artist name http://www.zeit.de/2009/34/Portraet-Dune E-Kartoffel (talk) 02:17, 16 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
