Origin of "Hereford"

I am wondering about the strict relevance of the derivation of "Hereford" on this page. --Old Moonraker (talk) 12:30, 15 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It seems to be wrong. ~~Most~~ Almost as many sources derive the name from Caerffawydd: castle+beech. Deleting. --Old Moonraker (talk) 20:30, 18 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
