This article need be rewritten. Article is based on one source, probably self-published, and his factual accuracy may be disputed. Many books cite "hereditary commanders" of knights hospitallers as hoax. And, of course, title of article is misleading, because hereditary commanders can be in other Orders, but the article is only about "Russian hospitallers".--Yopie 13:16, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

  • the last statement can be easily addressed by rewording the lead and setting up a sub-heading (==Russian Empire==) for the main content. The problem will persist as there is still no content from other nations. Maybe it needs renaming? NVO (talk) 09:06, 21 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
    • The Russian Hereditary Commanders are too well documented by a variety of independent authors and historians since 1798, to be a hoax. These "hoax" claims are driven by Rome-centric members of SMOM who do not wish to acknowledge the debt owed to Emperor Pavel and the Russian Empire, when their fellow Catholics and the Pope failed to assist them in the period of 1798-1812. The rejection of the Russian Hereditary Commanders by Rome-centric SMOM members is the actual hoax. Kasgan (talk) 14:46, 24 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Only source was Taube, and now is added Shepelyov. Ukases were cited as in Taube. --Yopie 15:44, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

  • So, Russian Hereditary Commanders are well documented, but they cannot create own order. Mentioned Association was Association of Hereditary Commanders, but they cannot create own "priory". I have problem with so-called Priory of Dacia and others bogus orders. For more informations see Knights of fantasy by Dr. Peter Kurrild-Klitgaard. --Yopie 15:44, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
  • Why so-called Priory of Dacia must die? Its self-styled organization and reference is book Knights of fantasy by Dr. Peter Kurrild-Klitgaard.--Yopie 11:08, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
Klitgaard is only one source. You deny all other well documented evidence of the survival of the Dacia Priory. Kasgan (talk) 21:19, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
