Recent page moves

[edit]

I hardly think this subject is well-known enough in the English-speaking world to have an established vanity spelling, so I moved her back to Heo Ga-yoon. This is our standard format for Korean names, per WP:NC-KO#Romanization_of_names and WP:NCP#Single_name. The Korea Times gives the subject's name in this form. Kauffner (talk) 08:15, 28 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Kauffner, do you understand the difference between "I moved her back" and "I moved the article twicethree times"? I don't particularly have an opinion on this (other than it evidently goes against the four or five K-pop editors who appear to disagree with your undiscussed moves per recent discussion), but can't you please just be straight and say "I moved the article twice" or "I moved the article again" rather than "I moved her back." where's the missing move to Gayoon?

I also don't understand this move history. You moved the page 3 times, but the record shows no record of what happened between 13 Jan and 28 October? Was the page reverted to Gayoon on 27 October? Why doesn't it show in page history? In ictu oculi (talk) 08:08, 29 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Evaders99, thanks okay I get it, the Talk page history must have got dislodged in all the moving. In ictu oculi (talk) 11:23, 29 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • IIO has been following me around like this for months, apparently just to make trouble for me. I don't see any indication that he knows or cares anything about Korean names. Kauffner (talk) 07:47, 30 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
So the fact that some editors have noticed that you've made umpteen controversial undiscussed moves and forced them is the fault of those who've noticed? It's an issue of WP guidelines. In ictu oculi (talk) 11:39, 30 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
