Meteor Engines
[edit]Looks like both Rover and Meadows were making Meteor engines from 1944 (the tank version of the Rolls-Royce Merlin). Tricky sorting out exactly what the Ministry of Supply shadow factories were doing. Could be one made parts, another assembled, could be both worked independently to reduce the risk of one bomb raid stopping all production.
