[edit]The article as written claims Strong assumed the presidency of Eastman Kodak in 1884, while the Eastman Kodak page claims Kodak was not founded until 1889... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.205.70.184 (talk) 05:23, 12 September 2012 (UTC)
President of Kodak
[edit]The article claims that Strong served as the first president until his death in 1919. This claim comes from the Mount Hope Epitaph reference which comes from the genealogical research of one of his descendants.
Countering this, the following PBS biography claims that strong retired as president in 1901, thereafter serving as a vice president but spending more time on the golf course.

Based on this dispute, I eliminated the end date of the presidency in the article. Dspark76 (talk) 15:32, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
