Time not right

In 1872 the king was Kamehameha V, not Kalakaua so something is not right. Need to check sources. W Nowicki (talk) 05:56, 23 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Kamehameha V was king when Berger first came to Hawaii. He returned to Germany in 1876, and was appointed bandmaster by Kalakaua when he returned (See Hawaiian Music and Musicians, 2nd edition (2012). 2603:800C:3A40:6400:98E:F654:6F16:630 (talk) 22:10, 22 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
