In many unreliable sources (ex. art dealer's web site, Canadian Encyclopedia, etc.), Henri Beau is described as the Official Painter of the Public Archives of Canada, however, the more scholarly and authoritative sources that I have, one by Paul L'Allier and the other by A.K. Prakash, describe him as an Associate Archivist. There is no recorded history of an Official Painter aside from Official War Painter. Since I want this article to be as authoritative as it can be, I'm basing his title at the Public Archives of Canada from the more reliable sources. L. When it comes to proper formatting of the sources, it's not my strongpoint. It would be great if someone could clean that up. Ljohndory (talk) 13:00, 15 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You know, being polite goes a long way here. Asking if someone could help you figure out the formatting of the sources is a lot better than just telling someone to clean up after you. w.carter-Talk16:42, 17 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
