Haemaggulutination assay can also be used to quantify antibody specific for a particular antigen, by coating the erythrocytes (red blood cells) with appropreate antigen.

Hemagglutination assay can be used for quantifying a lot of things, eg uropathogenic bacteria. This article needs some help. Richard8081 (talk) 04:36, 2 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think this article really needs to be merged into the main article on Virus Quantification, but i'm going to read up a little more before I suggest it officially. Abergabe (talk) 16:23, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I don't agree it should be merged, although the summary in the virus quantification article might well be superior. This is an important topic which could be discussed in detail here, expanding the outline in the top-level article. Espresso Addict (talk) 03:04, 19 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
