I am a descendant of the Helfensteins and I live in the United States. I would love any information especially pictures of whatever is left of the Helfenstein Castle. Someday I hope to make a trip to see it. Thanks

According to the German Wiki page the two branches of the Helfensteins became extinct: (1) in 1517 with the demise of Count Georg von Helfenstein; and (2) in 1627 with the battlefield death of Count Rudolph II von Helfenstein.--Gamahler 03:23, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
