Railway

[edit]

there has been some nonsense posted about the railway line a few times, seeking to blame the current state government for the supposedly wildly crooked route that the railway takes. it's probably worth noting here that as the present state govt didn't build it, they clearly had no say in the route. in fact, whe you check out Illawarra_railway_line,_Sydney#history you can see the line was built in the 1880's. i'm removing them because they're clearly inaccurate. Not inaccurate. The Helensburgh train crash happenned under their administration and there have been repeated calls for the introduction of a "straight line" track through the national park to dramatically reduce time and safety fears. The track winds upon itself thrice times during that stretch. The facts about time between helensburgh and Sydney by train(surely worthy of inclusion along with another part I am working on with Helensburgh's early importance to Australia, the Shire and the fact that for a long time the shire was part of Helensburgh territory and not part of Sydney. Helensburgh's history and its train history {to the present} are incredibly important to the early history of southern Sydney, the greatest city on earth, and the shire, the greatest region on earth.) were accurate and cited. Methinks that you are a troll Dibo
