[edit]German Wikipedia says that she went to St Ives (Cornwall) in 1887 to pay her austrian-british friend Marianne Stokes and husband Adrian Stokes a visit. Which is a proof in my opinion that she was not married to Stokes at that time. Channy8 20:07, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
Heirs
[edit]The article doesn't mention any children or other heirs. Who inherited her? This question has a general interest for the article, but also in particular because of copyright. Her images have been requested for deletion on Wikimedia Commons because less than 70 years have passed after her death. See commons:Commons:Deletion requests/Image:Schjerfbeck war.jpg. --LA2 (talk) 21:28, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
- According to the director of "Kuvataiteen keskusarkisto" (engl. Central Archive for Visual Arts [1]), the copyright to Helene Schjerfbeck's works is owned by Carl Appelberg, Helsinki. --LA2 (talk) 13:32, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
- Clarification: the information came from a researcher of that institute, not the director. My mistake (see the original discussion). –Finlux (talk) 14:06, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
