Since I'm intending to write a bunch of articles about woman philosophers, I figured I might as well document explicit notability rationales for each to avoid unnecessary AfD's down the line. Helen Beebee holds a named chair appointment, and thus satisfies WP:ACADEMICS (although I'm sure she satisfies several other notability guidelines as well. First two sentences: "Helen Beebee was formerly the Samuel Hall Professor of Philosophy at the University of Manchester. She is now a professor at the University of Leeds." Second paragraph of "Education and career": "Beebee is currently the Samuel Hall Professor of Philosophy at the University of Manchester..." Obviously this entry needs to be updated.
